Harness or Horse Saddle Maker, Antique Saddler Leather Work Bench

This workbench for leather was used by a harness and saddle maker or "saddler" for horses about 1890. Ash, oak and maple, this rugged primitive antique has an iron vise clamp for leather harnesses that is tightened by a 12 position foot pedal.

The finish is very fine on this American made rustic bench, preserving lots of dings and wear for antique character.

Size is 29" long, 23" wide, 43" tall and the seat is 27" high.
