Kidney Shape 1940's Vintage Writing Desk & Chair Set, Carved Walnut

An elegant kidney shaped desk was carved of walnut around 1940. The finish is in excellent condition preserving some patina and enhancing the matched and banded top.

Carved drawer fronts have dovetailed sides on this graceful American made vintage furniture in the French manner.

Size of the desk is 44" wide, 19" deep and 30" tall. The chair is 17" wide, 17" deep and 35" tall, the seat is 17 1/2" tall and 13" deep.
