A quarter sawn oak four section stacking "lawyer's" bookcase dates from the very early 1900's.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique American made library or office furniture. There is no signature because the back panels were replaced, but they certainly look like Globe Wernicke. Coppery metal mounts are original, and one knob is slightly relocated, see photos. Books up to 8" wide and 11" tall fit. The base and top are also separate modules.
Size is 34" wide, 11" deep and 62" tall
