Victorian Eastlake 1880 Antique 3 Pc Queen Size Walnut Bedroom Set, Marble Tops

This Victorian or Eastlake period three piece bedroom set includes a queen size bed and a chest or dresser with mirror plus a commode or nightstand, both with marble tops.

Solid walnut with matched burl panels, the restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture from the 1880's.

The bed has been expertly adapted to standard modern queen size, a demonstrator mattress and spring unit in photos is 18" thick together. Wood support slats are included as shown. Measurements are 69" wide, 86" long, the headboard is 6' 1" tall and the footboard is 36" high.

Both chests have original "Tennessee Red" marble tops, polished and sealed to resist stains. Drawers have "pin and cove" dovetail joints, characteristic of the era. Engraved rosy brass hardware is original.

The chest or dresser has an original swivel beveled mirror with a hint of "smoke" to show its age. A key in the small drawer is a handle only, the lock does not work. Size is 45 1/2" wide, 21" deep and 79" tall. The commode or small bedside chest has a rebuilt splash back and measures 30" wide, 17" deep and 33" tall.
