Hog Butcher Adjustable Trammel AAFA Wrought Iron 1800's Kettle Hanger

A wrought iron "trammel" was hand made in the 1800's by a blacksmith. This adjustable hanger was used when butchering hogs or hanging a large kettle over a fire. American made, this primitive antique has 7 adjustable positions.

Size is about 3" x 2" and adjusts from 28" to 40" long.
