Victorian Renaissance Antique Walnut Cylinder Roll Top Secretary Desk & Bookcase

A Victorian Renaissance period cylinder roll top secretary desk from about 1875 has a bookcase top.

Solid walnut with exquisite matched burl panels, the restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. The bookcase has original wavy glass doors and adjustable shelves. A key operates the bookcase doors and cylinder only.

The roll top opens smoothly, inside there is new saddle leather on the pull out writing surface. There are tiny drawers and cubicles for papers above. Lower drawers have round pin and cove dovetailed joints of the era, brass and ebonized wood drop pulls are original. The bookcase section is removable for easier delivery.

Measurements are 41" wide at the crown, 23" deep, 7' 1 1/2" tall and the desktop is 30" high.
