Chinese Rosewood Vintage Dining Set, Table, 8 Chairs, Hand Carved Grapevine

An exquisite dining set was hand carved of solid rosewood with a pierced grapevine motif in China about 30 years ago, and includes a table and 8 chairs.

The top of the table and leaves have been revarnished for durability, the rest of the finish is original and very well preserved. There has been the usual regluing and minor touchup, so this set is ready to serve another generation.

The table has two original 20" wide leaves with matching skirts or aprons. Measurements are 49" wide, 31" tall, legroom is 25 1/2" underneath and length is 56" long when closed, with both leaves in place, length is 8' 1"overall.

Two armchairs measure 23" wide, 18" deep, 40" tall and seats are 17" high, six side chairs are 21" wide.
