Bronze Vintage Sculpture of the Marquis de Lafayette

A bronze sculpture of the Marquis de "Lafayette" depicts him standing in full military dress. His dates, 1757-1834, are engraved in Roman numerals. A quote is translated from French on the back of the patinated plinth.

Lafayette was revered in the United States for his help against England during the Revolutionary War. There is wear on the coppery pedestal, see photos.

This classical statue measures 3" square and 8 1/2" tall.
