Campaign Style Vintage Library Desk, Leather Top, Original Brasses, England

About 60 years old, this "campaign" style desk was designed for British military officers in the field. Flat corners with brass mounts and recessed hardware plus the three piece stacking assembly made this furniture "portable."

The renewed finish on mahogany is in excellent condition. Tooled leather has lots of dings and mottling for a little character. Signed, "Made in England," this vintage furniture has solid brass original hardware. There are two file drawers, all drawers have dovetailed joints and there is a sliding tray in the center. Two pull out shelves offer extra workspace, on the opposite side are an interview shelf and bookshelves.

Measurements are 56" long, 36" deep, 31 1/2" tall and the knee hole is 25" x 25."
