Library Table Antique Writing Desk, Spiral Legs, Inlaid Banding, Mandel Chicago

A lavish library table or writing desk from the 1920's is walnut with inlaid marquetry banding surrounding matched elm burl panels, signed "Mandel Bros, Chicago." Spiral legs and the trestle base are dramatic.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made furniture. There are losses, stains and and restorations for a little antique character, see photos. Carved details are beautiful. Drawers have dovetailed joints and original brass pulls.

Measurements are 54" long, 27" deep, 30 1/2" tall and legroom is 24 1/2" underneath.
