Traditional Mahogany 1920's Antique Drop Front Secretary Desk

A traditional Georgian design drop front secretary desk is solid mahogany with carved claw and ball feet, dating from the 1920's and signed Maddox of Jamestown.

The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. When the front is opened, supports extend automatically.

Inside are tiny cubicles and drawers plus two secret compartments. Lower drawers have serpentine curved fronts. Hardware is original.

Measurements are 39" wide, 42" tall, 22" deep when closed, 36" deep when open. The writing surface is 29 1/2" tall.
