Empire Antique 1840 Carved Mahogany Sofa, New Upholstery

Gracefully curved, this Empire period sofa from the 1840's is matched flame grain mahogany, and has been newly upholstered.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars and shrinkage separations from age for a little antique character, see photos. The frame has been reglued to be tight and strong for another generation. Firm and supportive, the seat is comfortable.

Measurements are 83" long, 26" deep, 39" tall and the seat is 18" high.
