There may be another oak antique "Morris Chair" recliner platform rocker with a hidden footstool somewhere, but we have never seen one. Solid oak, cushions are newly upholstered.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture from the very early 1900's. The frame is reglued to serve another generation.
An adjustment controls three positions for the back to recline. A footstool pulls out underneath the seat. Platform or fixed base rocking chairs were popular because they did not "travel" to the side as you rocked.
Measurements not including the footstool are 28" wide, 35" deep, 36" tall and the seat is 16" high.
