Victorian 1860 Antique Queen Size Walnut Bed, Hand Carved Fruit & Nut Crest

A spectacular Victorian period bed from the 1860's has hand carved three dimensional fruit and nut motif sculpting and a shell crest. "Pumpkin" finials and oval panels are dramatic. Solid walnut, this antique bed has been expertly adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress as shown.

The restored deep rich finish is in excellent condition on this historic American made furniture. The demonstrator mattress and spring unit in photos are 20" thick together. Wood support cross pieces shown are included.

Dimensions are 65" wide, 91" long, the headboard is 82" tall and the footboard is 39" high.
