Said to be from upstate New York, this solid striped or "tiger" maple nightstand or end table dates from the Sheraton period around 1820.
The restored satiny finish is in excellent condition on the shimmering natural grain.A drawer has hand cut dovetail joints, a chamfered bottom and square nails. The walnut knob is attached with a wooden screw on this American made antique furniture.
Dimensions are 23 1/2" wide, 21" deep and 28 1/2" tall.
