Venetian Antique Carved Chest or Dresser, Painted Renaissance Portrait #28613

This palatial chest or dresser from Venice has lavish carving and original painting in the Renaissance manner.

The hand painted oval portrait has a "crackled" finish. The original carved and burnished gold and painted finish is "worn" for an antique effect. There are minor touchups plus shrinkage separations from age on this 1910 era antique furniture from Italy.

Drawers have solid mahogany sides and hand cut dovetail joints. Size 60" wide, 24" deep and 37" tall.
