Victorian Antique Walnut Bedroom Set, Queen Size Bed, Marble Top Chest #28954

A Victorian period two piece bedroom set from about 1885 includes a queen size bed and a marble top chest with mirror. Solid walnut with burl panels and inlaid marquetry, this antique furniture is American made.

The bed has been expertly adapted to standard modern queen size, the demonstrator mattress and spring unit in photos are 18" thick together. Wood cross pieces are included as shown. Measurements are 68" wide, 87" long, the headboard is 85" tall and the footboard is 30" high.

On the chest, there are candle stands flanking the mirror, which has a hint of "smoke" to show its age. The marble has been polished and given a protective finish. Drawers have dovetailed joints. Size is 44" wide, 19" deep and 82" tall.
