Dating from about 1870, a late Victorian or Eastlake period solid walnut chest or dresser has burl panels and a mirror with candle stands.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few mars and stains for a little antique character.
There is a hint of "smoke" in the mirror to show its age on this American made antique furniture. Drawers have original nickel ring pulls and round or "pin and cove" dovetail joints. The marble has embedded fossils, and has been polished and sealed for protection.
Size is 43" wide, 20" deep and 84 1/2" tall, the marble top is 28 1/2" high.
