Pair Antique Nightstands, Chests or End Tables, Carved Figures, Italy #29246

A pair of wormy walnut nightstands, small chests or end table was hand carved with figures, fruit and lion paw feet about 1900 in Italy.

The tops have a restored deep finish in excellent condition. The remaining original finish is very well preserved with shrinkage separations from age, newly waxed and buffed, all that is needed to preserve the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.

This antique furniture has just enough mars and shrinkage separations from age for a little character. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints.

Size is 20 1/2" wide, 15" deep and 32" tall.
