This solid oak dining set includes a table and six leather chairs, carved in the English Tudor manner during the 1920's. The signature is lost, but matching pieces from the set have an engraved signature plate from the famous "B. Altman & Co., New York."
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Frames are tight and strong, reglued to serve another generation.
The refectory table has pull out or draw leaves at the ends. Size closed is 42" wide, 30" tall, legroom is 24" and length is 66," with both leaves extended, length is 110" overall.
Chairs have recent buttery soft leather upholstery with brass nailhead trim. There are a few dimples and scuffs for a little character, see photos. Two large armchairs measure 27" wide, 25" deep, 40" tall and seats are 19" high and 20" deep. Four side chairs are 22" wide, 23" deep, 37" tall and seats are 18" deep.
