A pair of delicate demilune or half round hall console tables dates from the Hepplewhite period about 1810. Solid mahogany tops are richly figured, the apron and legs have inlaid banding.
The restored gleaming finish is in excellent condition, preserving shrinkage separations, mars and stains for antique character, see photos. On the backside is evidence that these were once attached to a long banquet dining table. This American made furniture from the East Coast is sturdy and strong.
Size is 45 1/2" wide, 22" deep and 28 1/2" tall.
