This early version of a Victorian reed organ or "melodeon" was signed "Prince, Patented Dec. 26, 1846." American made, this antique musical instrument has been restored to be in very good playing condition, all notes play but some are weak.
The genuine rosewood case has a very good finish with some sun fading and mars, see photos. The right pedal operates the bellows which hold air nicely, the left "swell" pedal and the "divided swell" lever don't seem to make much difference in loudness. Original keys are natural bone.
Size is 31" wide, 17" deep and 29" tall.
