A "Hoosier" pantry cupboard was named because they were almost all made in Indiana, this one is signed "Sellers of Elwood, IN." This superior quality example is oak with stained glass panels in the doors, a roll top section and original flour sifter.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this antique American made kitchen furniture from about 1910. Doors have slight warps from age, see photos. Pulls are embossed with an "S" Sellers monogram. There are shallow drawers for kitchen utensils plus a tin bread drawer.
The interior is worn paint, and the roll top glides smoothly. A pull out enamel work surface has some wear, see photos. The upper section is removable for easier delivery.
Measurements are 49" wide, 27" deep, 69" tall and the work top is 31" high.
