An Empire period hall console from about 1825 has a flip open top to convert to a game table. The top is solid cherry, the base is flame grain mahogany with hand carved lion paw feet and a pedestal with a shaped column.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Under the lid is a secret compartment. Brass hinges are original.
Measurements in console position are 36" wide, 18" deep and 31" tall, open to a game table, the top is 36" square and 30" tall.
