A splendid round Victorian dining table from about 1870 has six nearly 12" leaves with matching skirts or aprons of matched flame grain mahogany. The top and leaves are solid mahogany with shimmering figured grain.
The restored gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. There are shrinkage separations from age in the skirt, see photos. The carved solid mahogany pedestal separates as it opens to extend, with a center leg for extra support. New wooden slides glide smoothly.
Measurements are 48" diameter, 30" tall, legroom is 25" underneath, and with all six leaves in place, length is almost 10' overall.
