Victorian Antique Carved Fruitwood Coal Hod, Firewood Caddy #29663

A Victorian period coal hod from about 1890 was hand carved of solid fruitwood in England, and could hold kindling or firewood as well. There is a tin liner in the tilt out door.

The original finish is very well preserved on this antique fireplace hearth furniture. Raised panels are beautiful.

Size is 14" square and 24" tall.
