A small chest or commode from the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1880 is solid oak and ash, and could also serve as a nightstand. Delicate incised or "spoon" carving is beautiful on this American made antique furniture.
The restored finish is in excellent condition. Drawers have round "pin and cove" dovetail joints. Brass hardware is original.
Size is 32" wide, 17" deep, 30" tall and the top is 27" high.
