Georgian Design Antique Mahogany Highboy or Chest on Chest, Berkey & Gay #29806

A classic Georgian design highboy or chest on chest was carved of mahogany about 1915, signed by premier maker, "Berkey & Gay." Ball and claw feet and the pediment with spiral finial are authentic.

The original finish is very well preserved with crazing or crackling from age, see photos. Drawers have solid mahogany sides with dovetail joints and original brass pulls. Carved details are artistic on this American made antique furniture.

Measurements are 38" wide tip to tip, 20" tall and 78" tall to the tip of the carved center finial.
