An authentic Russian "Samovar" or tea kettle from around 1900 is solid brass with Cyrillic Russian inscriptions.
A hissing hot samovar was a sign of hospitality in every Russian novel, hot coals were placed in the center chimney to boil water for tea. This antique has a few dings for character and does not hold water, so is a decoration only.
