Victorian Gothic Antique 1856 Cast Iron Clock, Hand Painted, Pearl Inlay #29826

A Victorian Gothic cast iron clock has original hand painting of a castle with genuine mother of pearl inlay. The brass movement runs accurately for a week on a winding, and a gong counts the hour. The case is embossed, "T. Kennedy, Pat. Applied for 1856."

This unsigned clock with filigree crest is probably American made. Brass bezels open to the hands and to the pendulum.

Size is 14" wide, 4 1/2" deep and 20 1/2" tall.
