Bombe Vintage Italian Chest or Dresser, Rosewood Marquetry, Marble Top #29967

A dramatic "bombe" or convex shaped chest, dresser or commode was hand crafted in Italy about 60 years ago. Shimmering genuine rosewood and tulipwood join in finely detailed inlaid marquetry with exquisite designs. The "Brescia" marble top has an old professional repair, see photos.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few shrinkage separations from age on this palatial vintage furniture. Embossed gold plated brass mounts and pulls are original. Drawers have solid oak sides with dovetail joints.

Size is 63" wide, 23" deep and 34 1/2" tall.
