French Louis XIV Style Antique Tulipwood Library Desk, Brass Mounts #29979

This genuine tulipwood desk was hand crafted in the Loiuis XIV manner during the 1920's in France. Original cast and hand chased brass mounts and pulls are lavish.

The restored glowing finish is in excellent condition, preserving shrinkage separations and a few touchups as shown on this elegant furniture.

Gold tooled leather has stains, dings and wear for character, see photos. Drawers have solid oak sides with dovetail joints and working locks. One pull has a small break. There are false drawers and pulls on the backside.

Dimensions are 55" long, 31" deep, 30 1/2" tall and legroom is 24" underneath.
