Recamier, Antique 1870 Chaise Lounge, or Fainting Couch, New Upholstery #30149

This "recamier," chaise lounge or fainting couch was masterfully hand carved of solid walnut about 1870 in Austria. Newly tufted and upholstered, the seat is comfortable.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique European furniture. Reglued to serve another generation, the frame is tight and sturdy.

Size is 75" long, 30" deep, 30" tall and the seat is 20" high.
