A Victorian period schoolmaster's desk from about 1890 is solid quarter sawn oak with a book gallery and raised panels.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving lots of stains, mars and shrinkage separations for antique character, see photos. Drawers have dovetail joints and original carved pulls on this American made library or office furniture.
Measurements are 40" wide, 23" deep, 35" tall and the top is 30" high, the kneehole is 24" wide and 24" high.
