Art Deco Waterfall 1930's Vintage King Size 4 Pc. Bedroom Set #30386

A "waterfall" design Art Deco four piece bedroom set from the late 1930's includes a king size bed, tall chest and a pair of nightstands. No maker's signature survives and the bed is slightly different, see photos.

The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on matched walnut, burl, cherry and mahogany with inlaid banding. Richly figured wood grain is beautiful on this American made vintage furniture.

The bed has been expertly adapted to fit a standard modern king size mattress as shown, the demonstrator set in photos is 18" thick together. Wood support cross pieces with center support legs are included as shown.

Measurements are 81" wide, 89" long, the headboard is 57" tall and the footboard is 23" high.

Drawers have solid oak sides, dovetail joints and pulls with bakelite inserts. Tall chest size is 34" wide, 19" deep and 56" tall. Nightstands are 14" wide, 19" deep and 30 1/2" tall.
