A sweet little Victorian period chest, dresser or commode from about 1850 has spool turned towel bars, and could be a vessel sink vanity. Solid butternut, the top is a single wide plank.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving mars, shrinkage separations from age and losses for antique character, see photos. American made primitive furniture, the top drawer only has a working key. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms.
Size is 40" wide tip to tip, 18" deep and 35" tall, the top is 30" high.
