Richly carved in the French manner, this china or curio display cabinet has shelves with grooves for plates from about 60 years ago. No signature survives, but we recognize the distinctive style by "Romweber of Indiana," which made furniture for the White House and innumerable celebrities.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on acacia, mahogany and maple hardwoods. Matched burl panels and lavish carving are beautiful on this American made vintage furniture, hardware is original.
Measurements are 42" wide, 18" deep and 79" tall.
