This large "C" shape roll top desk is mahogany, dating from about 1910, and signed by famous maker, "John Wanamaker of New York and Philadelphia." Quality is exceptional throughout.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this antique library or office furniture. When the smooth gliding roll top is opened, drawers are unlocked. Inside are drawers and cubicles for papers, the compartment key is a handle only, the lock does not work.
There is a file drawer and two pull out shelves, deep drawers have dovetail joints. Solid patinated brass pulls and label holders are original. Brass tips protected the feet.
