Country Pine 1840 Antique Document or Tabletop Treasure Box, Ohio #31016

A country pine table top document or treasure box has hand cut dovetail joints at the corners, hand made about 1840 in Ohio, and was used as a bed step. There are hand cut square nails on this American made antique miniature furniture.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving warm patina. Photos show shrinkage separations from age. The lock does not work.

Measurements are 19" wide, 15" deep and 10" tall.
