French Antique 1880 Classical Marble Mantel Clock #31102

A French marble mantel clock from about 1880 is signed "Marque Deposes, A.I" on the movement. The case has a satin protective finish, there are small chips on the back corners, see photos.

The brass movement has been cleaned and oiled, keeping accurate time for a week on a winding. A gong chime counts the hour and rings the half hour. The bronze dial has a beveled glass door.

Size is 9" wide, 5" deep and 12" tall.
