An authentic Spanish Colonial sideboard cabinet from about 1915 could be a library credenza or bar cabinet, signed "Ameublement Mueble." Hand carved of solid oak, masterful details include lion paw feet, linenfold panels, mortise and tenon joints on the trestle base and shell motifs.
The fine grained oak has warm color on this furniture from Spain. The top has been revarnished to resist stains, the rest retains its original finish, waxed and buffed so that all that is needed to maintain the antique patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Hand wrought iron hardware and working locks are original, drawers have dovetailed joints.
Dimensions are 7' 7" wide, 23" deep and 50 1/2" tall.
