A pair of quarter sawn oak "lawyer" bookcases, each with four sections, date from the very early 1900's, and are signed in various places by famous maker, "Macey." Bases and tops are also separate stacking modules.
The tops have been revarnished for durability, the rest of the original finish is very well preserved on this American made antique library or office furniture. Most of the glass is original and wavy, coppery hardware is also original.
Books up to 10" wide fit, the upper section fits books up to 8 1/2" tall, the two middle sections up to 10" tall and the bottom up to 12" tall.
Overall size is 34" wide, 13" deep and 60" tall.
