Baroque Style Italian Fruitwood Vintage Sofa, Carved Angels #31351

An imposing sofa was lavishly carved with angels in the Baroque manner about 60 years ago. Solid fruitwood, the pierced and sculpted frame is beautiful on this vintage furniture from Italy.

The original finish is very well preserved with minor touchups on this large and comfortable sofa. There is very little wear to the cut velvet fabric, which has brass nail head trim. Cushions are soft. There is a slight flex to the frame, which could be reglued whenever the sofa is next upholstered.

Measurements are 80" wide, 36" deep, 42" tall and seat cushions are 18" high.
