French Style Vintage Satinwood & Hand Painted Queen Size 6 Pc Bedroom Set #31489

A splendid 6 piece bedroom set from the 1940's includes a queen size bed, dresser with wall mirror, tall chest and two different nightstands. Shimmering matched flame grain satinwood has inlaid marquetry designs. Edges are carved in the French manner and hand painted on this American made vintage furniture. No maker's signature survives.

The gleaming restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving minor wear and touchups at the edges, see photos. Drawers have solid oak sides with dovetail joints and original brass filigree hardware.

The bed has been expertly adapted to fit a queen size mattress and includes wood support slats as shown. A demonstrator mattress and spring unit in photos are 18" thick together. Bed measurements are 64" wide, 88" long, the headboard is 61" tall and the footboard is 24" high.

Dresser size is 52" wide, 22" deep and 34" tall, the wall mirror is 29" wide, 42" tall and 2" deep. Tall chest measurements are 38" wide, 22" deep and 51" tall.

The nightstand with a drawer is 17" wide, 17" deep and 30" tall, the other one measures 18" wide, 15" deep and 28" tall.
