Meiji Japanese Antique Elm Chair, Carved Dragon & Garden Scene #31494

A beautiful Japanese chair was hand carved of solid elm around 1900 during the Meiji period, with delicate dragon head and garden motifs.

The old finish is very well preserved on this antique furniture. Strong and sturdy, the frame is not very comfortable on this decorative chair, bought from a Tokyo antique dealer many years ago.

Size is 20" wide, 16" deep, 37" tall and the seat is 20" high.
