Made for a Minnesota dentist about 1920, this mahogany dental cabinet would also be useful for jewelry or a collector. No signature survives, but we have seen these before, made by "The American Cabinet Co., Two Rivers, Wis."
There are 15 drawers with original cut glass and brass knobs. Inside is the faint lingering "dentist office" clove oil scent.
The old finish is in very good condition with some fading and wear on this antique furniture, see photos. The original beveled mirror has a little "smoke" to show its age, the milk glass top is intact. There are original milk glass liners with shelves behind the etched glass doors. Drawers have worn paint inside.
There is no key for the lock in the top right drawer, but when it is closed, it locks the top seven drawers.
Measurements are 31" wide, 14" deep and 63" tall.
