Carved Cedar Large Vintage Trunk or Blanket Chest #31712

A large solid cedar trunk or blanket chest from the 1920's has richly carved moldings and panels. Natural oils in cedar repel insects. This was probably a "Hope Chest" for a young woman's silver and linens, collected before her marriage. There is a tray inside for valuables.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture.

Size is 59" wide, 26" deep and 25" tall.
