Quartersawn Oak Antique Roll Top Library or Office Desk, Raised Panels #31763

A superior quality quarter sawn oak "S" curve rolltop desk from about 1900 has raised panels, two pull out shelves and a file drawer.

The restored rich finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique office or library furniture. There are just enough stains and shrinkage separations from age for a little antique character, see photos.

The roll glides smoothly, inside are tiny cubicles, drawers and note holders with original brass hardware. Deep lower drawers have carved pulls and dovetail joints. There is no key for the lock. The upper section is removable for easier delivery.

Measurements are 60" wide, 38" deep and 42" tall, the desk top is 30 1/2" tall and the knee hole is 30" wide and 26" high.
