Game Table & 4 Chairs Italian Dal Negro Set, Chess, Roulette, Marquetry #31860

A lavish game table and four matching chairs includes an inlaid chess or checkers board with a roulette wheel and boards underneath, signed "Made in Italy." The top is opulent marquetry of walnut, burl, mahogany, satinwood and other exotic species.

The top lifts off and flips to the chessboard underneath. Below, roulette boards slide open to reveal a roulette wheel. Under the wheel is another finished game board for craps and backgammon on the reverse.

The original polished finish is in very fine condition on this luxurious vintage furniture, purchased and shipped to America from the Island of Anacapri in Italy about 25 years ago.

Original paperwork is from the maker, "Dal Negro" in Treviso, including game instructions in Italian. Chess, checker, chips and dice pieces are included as shown. There is a green felt protective cover.

Table size is 40" across and 31 1/2" tall.

Chairs measure 18" wide, 21" deep, 37" tall and seats are 20" high. Chairs have matching marquetry panels and velvet seats, frames are sturdy and strong.
