Walnut Antique Partner Desk or Library Table, Tobey Chicago #32095

A large "partner's desk" has a large drawer for each partner, facing each other on this library table from about 1895. Hand crafted of curly walnut, the signature medallion is by luxury maker, "Tobey of Chicago."

The restored deep finish is in excellent condition, preserving minor mars and shrinkage separations from age for a little antique character. Drawers have solid oak sides with beautiful hand cut dovetail joints. Feet are hand carved in the "Aesthetic Movement" style on this understated furniture. Wheels are hidden underneath.

Size is 60" long, 36" wide, 30" tall and legroom is 24" underneath.
